While traveling down highway 70/84 between Texico and Lubbock, Texas, I hoped to see some BNSF trains along the route. Never did I expect to see 70 hopper cars that at first glance appeared to be floating in the air. I turned around and headed back to take this photograph of hoppers on stilts. Just goes to show you can model just about anything on your model railroad layout.
