| The day after Thanksgiving 29-plus years ago (as of the date this image was posted), a group of us took a run down to "91 Bay", Conrail's locomotive service facility in Oak Island Yard to see what might be on hand. We were treated to two sets of "foreign" power. The Cotton Belt/NRE duo had arrived on TV-556 Thanksgiving Day. I'm not quite sure what train brought the Union Pacific EMD trio into Oak Island. The usual assortment of local Conrail power rounds out the scene. Not a GE in sight! |
