BN 1549, formerly GN GP7 no. 649, leads a colorful consist at Minneapolis in January 1973. Wearing its original color scheme minus the logo under the cab window, the loco had another 9 years ahead of it on BN. It would be retired Feb. 26, 1982 and sold to Joseph Simon & Sons, Tacoma, on April 29 of that year.
