OK-KS Oct 1977 — The last picture of a long day chasing trains from El Reno OK north yielded this night shot of Rock Island 353. Fellow railfan Zoli Vajda and I used my Braun RL915 strobe but had only one tripod and the battery was very low. My camera was upside down on a handy screw mount on the bottom of the tripod extension and Zoli's was on top. This picture was taken close to one side or the other of the Oklahoma-Kansas border on the Rock's north-south line. My memory says Kansas. Anyone got any idea of the exact location? My photo.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
