Remarks & Notes

Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe Railway SD45 5600, SD45 5548 and SD45-2 5701 (still wearing its Bicentennial colors) move a westbound freight past the cantilever signals at milepost 164 on its way to Los Angeles' Hobart Yard. A number of cars carrying automobile parts are heading for the Ford Assembly Plant in Pico Rivera, just east of Hobart. (Fullerton, California – January 17, 1977)
