I remember when the 46 was released from the shops with its 50th markings, there were a number of fans complaining "THIS IS IT?" Well, as time would reveal, the 46 was just the start. Amtrak rolled out a total of six 50th locomotives throughout the year, with the 160 being the finale. It's my personal favorite, as the attention to detail in the masking of the stripes is amazing. Hats off to the talented team at Beech Grove on a job well done.
