Named For Names. Traveling through the Cajon Pass on the afternoon of April 4, 2022, BNSF Railway 5227 (C44-9W, GE) leads an intermodal train through the area in between the San Gabriel and San Bernardino Mountains. In the midground is "Stein's Hill", named for railroad photographer Richard Steinheimer as the train passes through Alray, California, named for track supervisor Al Ray.
