Stacks by Stacks. NS 243 brings a load of container empties past the remains of the F.W. Poe Textile Manufacturing Mill in North Greenville, SC. NS 243 is approaching the Greenville yard on its way south to Atlanta, GA. The Poe Mill closed in 1977 and burned in 2003, leaving only the two stacks. The building behind the stacks is the American Spinning Mill, now being converted to apartments and retail space. In the distance is Paris Mountain.
