| Heavy power "IORE" locomotives # 111 "Katterat" (first series built 2000 to 2004) and # 131 "Straumsnes" (third series built 2012 to 2014) of the LKAB Malmtrafik AB in multiple control are pulling the loaded iron ore train 9918 from Kiruna to Narvik at Rautas. The train has 34 double ore cars, forming a 68 car train with a gross weight of 8600 ton and more then 700 meter length including the two locomotives. A IORE locomotive pair with 12 axles has 10800 kW and an axle load of 30 tons. |
