Remarks & Notes
This station belonged to the first section of the line inaugurated on December 1, 1913, which linked the stations of Plaza Miserere and Plaza de Mayo. It was named in honor of the Republic of Peru. In the 1970s Peru became the first station on line A to be equipped with a pair of escalators. In 1997, this station was declared a national historic monument.
