| "Beaching the Dual Mode"
On March 13th, 2022 NJ Transit Alstom (Bombardier) ALP-45DP 4542 was unloaded from ACL's "Atlantic Sail" roll-on/roll-off cargo ship at Port Newark's Berth 17. 4542 is number 6 of 25 new additional dual mode locomotives built in Germany for New Jersey Transit. Once unloading was completed, the locomotive was placed onto Berth 17's siding track and picked up by Conrail Shared Assets for the final leg to NJT's Meadowlands Maintenance Complex.
