Remarks & Notes

In July 1976 one could still catch UP SD24B units in mainline freight consists coming in and out of Seattle. Here UP 440B and 420B match up with SD40-2 3193 as UP's Argo Yard waiting to be assigned to an evening hotshot to Portland and east. The 440B was retired October 1977 and rebuilt to ICG SD20 no. 2007.
