Day one of the Trains Magazine photo charter of US Sugar 148 was a trip from Clewiston to Okeelanta, with 10 empty sugar cane cars ahead of the passenger consist. At the wye in Okeelanta, the passenger cars were cut away, as they didn't need to be turned, offering a view of the steamer with only freight cars.
