Remarks & Notes
An eastbound Southern Pacific coal train works through the 10,430-foot siding at Belden while climbing the steep west slope of Colorado’s Tennessee Pass out of Minturn on September 8, 1992. SP EMD SD45T-2Rs, Nos. 6867 and 6854, and Burlington Northern EMD SD40-2 No. 8125, lead the heavy train grinding up the three percent grade.
