Precision Plowing. On October 20, 2021, Precision Locomotive Leasing (PNLX) 2107 (MP20B-3) and 9619 (GP40-2LW) brought the plow train north out of MTA Metro-North Railroad’s Croton East Yard, seen here crossing Annsville Creek near Peekskill, New York. These 2 engines are being leased to provide power for a project to bury cable next to the tracks of the Hudson Line. The lease is set for 3 years, as this kind of work can only be done when the ground is above a certain temperature and on weekends when it will cause less interference with regular service.
