| An eastbound departs Fremont, NE on its way to Chicago one autumn afternoon. Power in color schemes from the merged railroads was prevalent - in this case a GP40 and SD45T-2. For awhile, until receipt of the huge SD70M order, SP locomotives depleted UPs effective fleet with numerous road failures. |
