A northbound (timetable westbound) Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad passenger train has just crossed the Animas River while departing Durango, Colorado, on the morning of August 30, 2021. D&SNG K-28 2-8-2 No. 473 powers the train that is now passing the Colorado Parks & Wildlife fish hatchery and Huck Finn Pond.
