These 2 grimy coal motors are leading a coal train eastbound past the 12 million year old volcanic neck called Finger Rock. Location is between Yampa and Toponas on the ex. D&RGW Craig Branch in Colorado. Ahead is the steep downgrade following Egeria and Rock Creeks, through the wonderful double loops at Crater and on to the junction with the main line at Bond. |
