They Mean Buisness: The Canadian Pacific President’s Train (or Office Car Special as some will call it) is seen crossing the photogenic Onawa Trestle on a beautiful foliage-filled October afternoon. Sporting the strange, yet matching consist of SD70ACU #7019 leading FP9 #1401 and F9B #1900, this train is truly one of the better-looking business trains out there. This would end up being the first time the CP President’s Train visited the Moosehead Subdivision in northern Maine since CP acquired their old territories back from the CMQ, a trip that would result in executives touring multiple east coast destinations on their way to Saint John, New Brunswick. Couple a beautiful train with an amazingly developed scene and some good timing, and you get an outstanding photo and sight to see. A trip definitely worth the drive and hike.
