| For celebrating the 100th anniversary of the powerful 2-8-0 T steamlocomotive Ec 4/5 # 11 (built in 1911 by SLM for the Solothurn-Münster-Bahn SMB), a steamtrain circulated on the original line for which the locomotive was built for. The train of association steam railway Berne (Verein Dampfbahn Bern DBB) is on the heavy 2.7 % grade from Moutier up to Gänsbrunnen on this snowless beautiful "winter" day. From this photo position the train was visible and could be heard for more then 5 minutes. |
