| Last Time on Home Rails.
South Brooklyn Railway steeplecab 7 sits at the South Brooklyn Marine Terminal, awaiting transport to its new home at the Shore Line Trolley Museum. This will be the last time for a while that the locomotive will be on South Brooklyn Railway rails. Hopefully the future is bright for this nonagenarian, as the years sitting in Coney Island Yard do not seem to have done it well.
Number 7 was supposedly the last piece of rolling stock on NYCTA property to be equipped with trolley poles, which have been removed and can be seen laid on the walkway in preparation for transport. |
