My great, great uncle Robert F. McKee, Sr., was a design engineer at Baldwin and he would give my father different Baldwin Locomotive Works builder's cards when my father would visit him in Collingswood, New Jersey. This handsome 4-6-4 was built for the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad, number 3000. It had a tractive force of 47,700 lbs., and a combined engine and tender weight in working order of 717,900 lbs. This Baldwin Locomotive Works builders photo specification card is from the John R.
