More About Ardmore. Webb Rail's former Northern Pacific Railway Budd built Pullman dome/sleeper 313 (WEBX 801044) and former Northern Pacific Railway Budd built dome/coach 549 (WEBX 801045) were on the rear of Amtrak Train 821 (Heartland Flyer) as it departed Ardmore, Oklahoma on Tuesday, December 29, 2020. After making the trip to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma the night before leading, they would trail for this segment, the first private cars to make the FTW-OKC trip in many years. The history is not clear on the subject of who or how, but the census seems to be that it is not a coincidence that the names Ardmore, Overbrook, Paoli, and Berwyn decorate this segment of the railroad, and relate it to either a former employee of or financial relationship to the Pennsylvania Railroad.
