We caught a CSX crew working the old Seaboard Coast Line yard in Cayce, South Carolina on the morning of December 3, 2019 with two four axle locomotives. CSXT #6538 is a GP40-3, a recent rebuild from CSX #6022. It was originally built for the Baltimore & Ohio Railway in 1972 as BO #4122. The second unit is CSXT #2655. She was built as Clinchfield Railroad (CRR) GP40-2 #6004, to Seaboard #6004 and then CSXT #2655.
