NR75 wearing "The Ghan" paint, is usually assigned to the passenger service from Adelaide to Darwin. From time to time however, Ghan locomotives can be allocated to Pacific National's freight pool, especially in 2020 due to Covid travel restrictions affecting interstate travel.
NR75 leads 7PX4, an empty steel train and other loading from Perth to Port Augusta.
