Remarks & Notes
In 1977, as the GG1 era was coming to an end in the Northeast, Amtrak 4935 was repainted into its original Pennsylvania Railroad pinstripe scheme as a salute to the classic motors. It led a northbound corridor train just outside Metropark station in Iselin, NJ. The converted coach behind it houses HEP equipment to power Amfleet equipment.
