After Sunset at Sunset Seat. The cliffs of Del Mar, California are a small geographic distance from San Diego, but a large change from the water level view. Webb Rail's former New York Central Railroad Budd built Pullman obs/diner/sleeper "Babbling Brook" (WEBX 800007) and former Northern Pacific Railway Budd built Pullman dome/sleeper 313 (WEBX 801044) were placed behind Amtrak California CDTX 2120 (SC-44) on Amtrak Train 593 on Friday, July 24, 2020 for the trip to Los Angeles. This area of Torrey Pines State Park is called "Sunset Seat" after a physical bench that is not far from where this photo was taken, but perhaps a seat in the dome was the best view of all.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
