Spires of Granite
Amtrak number 1105 substituting for number 5 the California Zephyr is about 34 minutes late at tunnel 5 and 6 on the Flatiron Range near Eldorado Canyon. Spires of granite reach dizzying heights over this feat of engineering the Moffat Tunnel Subdivision. Fall is just beginning to take hold along the Moffat Road with the first colors of Fall.
