| North meets south at "The Sag" a few miles north of Palmer Lake on the Joint line. The coal train to the right on Main 1 is stopped, cooling its traction motors after the long climb up Palmer Divide from Denver. It is waiting for two northbounds, the first of which is passing by to the left on Main 2. Said northbound is a grain train with three units on the point and three DPUs on the rear. |
