Coordination is important. Amtrak 704 (Phase III, P32AC-DM) and 10001 (Phase III, Beech Grove) had a momentary meet at the yard in Albany-Rensselaer on the afternoon of August 10, 2016. The "Beech Grove" had just returned from an inspection trip in the midwest, and 704 was the first and at the time one of the few P32s in the Phase III paint scheme adapted by New York State for Empire Service.
