Gone green? Just gone! Conrail's Northumberland-Berwick local makes its way back on the western end of the former Lackawanna Bloomsburg Branch from Berwick to Northumberland for the last time. The next day, Aug. 1, 1984, SEDA-COG Joint Rail Authority would own the branch and North Shore Railroad (NSHR) would be the operator of the line.
