| A new (and longer) routing. With the Mount Royal tunnel closed since Friday evening (for at least three years as it gets reconstructed for the REM light rail project), some trains on the Mascouche line are now taking a lengthier route which sees them go through CN's Taschereau Yard and then take CN's Montreal Sub to or from Central Station (some trains are starting or terminating at Ahuntsic Station, where passengers can get to a Metro Station). Here the second departure of the afternoon from Central Station for Mascouche is passing Turcot Ouest with F59PH AMT 1348 and six multilevel cars. This new routing adds 40 minutes to the trip from downtown to Mascouche. |
