Remarks & Notes |
New England Southern is seen headed North of Concord with 8 loads, an unusually long train for them. Six of the cars are spine cars loaded with ties destined to be interchanged with Plymouth & Lincoln for a tie replacement project. The train brought out quite a large crowd of railfans. My buddy Dave Blaze had the idea for this angle and I decided to give it a try. The EMD SW1500 was originally built for the Southern Pacific in January 1970. |
