Remarks & Notes

I remember my father showing me this photo, and, if my memory serves me correctly, he took it while on an extended work assignment in Indianapolis in 1960. This is a real rarity, 1 of 22 center-cab transfer locomotives built for the Pennsylvania by Lima in 1950/1951. If Wikipedia is to be believed, these were the last locomotives built by Lima prior to being merged into Baldwin in 1951. R.T. Steinbrenner Photo
