A Kennecott Copper southbound empty ore train is nearing the end of it's run to Copperton. This "High Cab" GP39-2 was a special order from EMD and was intended to give the engineer improved visibility while loading and dumping ore. This line replaced the longer and steeper Bingham & Garfield Ry. in 1948. The new line was known as the Copperton Low Line and was 14 miles long, connecting the Bingham Canyon mine with the smelters and ore processing facilities at Magna. Scanned from a color print.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
