TU6A narrow gauge diesel locomotive goes for the peat in a bluehour. In winter, the local boiler house reaches its full capacity, it is necessary to ensure a stable fuel supply. Work begins in the dark. In the early morning, the locomotive picks up empty cars from the boiler barn, after which it goes through the sleeping winter forest to the swamps, where peat has been harvested since the summer.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
