January in Colorado is one of the sunniest months. On February 2 some of that sun has carried over a couple days as a eastbound grain empty exits Tunnel 1 on the Moffat Tunnel Subdivision. This day saw temperatures in Denver top 74 degrees! The following day the temps would plummet reaching minus 5... making for a 79 degree temperature drop, with 2 back - back snowstorms to top it off.... Gotta love the Rockies.
