Claremont & Concord 44-Tonner 31 was working hard as it pulled a loaded boxcar up one of the hills in the street-running trackage in Claremont, NH, that was once part of the Claremont Electric Railway. The C&C's nimble 44-Tonners were well suited to negotiating the convoluted parts of the line.
