| A clean, rare EMD unit sits next to the B&LE roundhouse on a rainy Tuesday. There were only 15 of the SD38AC units built with an alternating current alternator instead of a generator. B&LE got six, related railroad Duluth Messabi and Iron Range 8 and BC Hydro just one. |
