| "South Shore Freight" motors are seen working a gravity switch move on the yard lead at the Springland avenue crossing, approximately a mile west of Shops. This section of track was formerly a part of the Nickel Plate Road mainline. It now dead ends about a quarter mile west of this location. Photo by Jeff Stupar. |
