Under heavy rain, the smoke of locomotive No. 2 darkens as it throttles up, to overcome the steep slope ahead of the train.
Locomotive No. 2 of the "Ferrocarril Fueguino Austral" is a 0-4-0 + 0-4-0 Beyer-Garrat and was built by Tranex in Argentina in 1994, especially for the FCAF. Originally, this locomotive was named "Nora", in honor of the wife of the original owner of the railway. However, in 2007, after a series of modifications and technical improvements, it was renamed in tribute to engineer Livio Dante Porta, specialist in steam locomotives.
