Remarks & Notes |
"The Closed Gare Mont-Royal"
A southbound Exo Deux Montagnes Line train consisting of a push-pull ALP-45DP/ Multilevel trainset is seen passing by the north end of the closed Gare Mont-Royal. A sign explaining the closure is posted on one of the surviving shelters. A temporary Gare Mont-Royal is now in use, which was constructed by pouring asphalt over one of the tracks between the original Gare Mont-Royal and Gare Canora. Both stations are currently closed for light rail conversion.
The Deux-Montagnes Line is currently being converted from heavy rail commuter to light rail meaning many distinctive traits of this line, including the one off Bombardier MR-90 rail cars, will be eliminated or changed forever. |
