BC RAIL COWL Returns!. Occasionally one of Canadian National's ex BCOL C40-8M s returns to home rails. Red-White-Blue BCOL4609 drops downgrade into Williams Lake, BC on point of train 570. The cowl "Full Body" locomotive was built by General Electric in 1990 and was upgraded with -9s electronics just before the CN takeover. Rumor is retirement is coming soon, I personally hope these motors keep moving tonnage over the grades of British Columbia for another decade!
