Clinging to the edge of the rocks in the impressive Pikeville cut, empty ethanol train K428 snakes its way up the the former C&O Big Sandy Subdivision in the first light of day. The BC Rail barn on point makes this scene look a little more like the British Columbian Rockies than Appalachia.
