The "Rhaetian Crocodile" or "C-C" (according the axle configuration) Ge 6/6 I # 415 (built 1929) is pulling the nostalgic Zügen gorge train 1822 from Filisur to Davos Platz over the Wiesen viaduct, with 89 meter the highest of the Rhaetian Railway. The main span is 55 meter and the length 210 meter, it was built from 1906 to 1909. The Zügen gorge train with the 2 yellow open observation cars was running the first time last year and was a large success. It is circulating twice a day in both directions, replacing timetabled trains with modern vehicles. The two covered freight cars behind the locomotive are for bycicles, buggies etc. The Landwasser creek has a very strange color this day, because a detention basin upstream was emptied. In the bakground the village of Wiesen, about 250 meter higher then the railway station Davos Wiesen, which is just right of the viaduct.
