AMTK 451 is seen spending the night at Amtrak's Redondo locomotive maintenance facility as the dramatic Los Angeles skyline towers in the background at dusk. Who would have ever thought this scene would disappear so swiftly with the coming of the Pacific Surfliner's current power, the Siemens SC-44 Charger.
