One more from this amazing chase of the B41 local across the Sheldon Sub. The CP Sheldon Sub runs west from Mason City towards Sheldon, IA, in far northwestern Iowa. Normally overnight B41 local runs the line from Mason City to Spencer, but today numerous winter time problems caused B41's crew to die. So now B42's crew is on-board and still trying to make it to Spencer before their hours at 19:00. Here the crew crosses highway 18 at MP 200 with around hour left to work. Haven't had alot of chases on this piece of railroad over the years, but still neat to get daylight trains out here cause it always was, and still is, small time railroading.
