| Domodossola is the border station between Switzerland and Italy. Locomotive E 464 # 019 of Trenitalia is leaving the station with regional train R 10251 to Novara via Omegna-Borgomanero, a push-pull train with 3 cars including the cab car in the rear. The locomotives of the E 464 series have a single cab only, 3000 kW and 160 km/h maximum velocity, more then 700 were built from 1999 by AdTranz now Bombardier. On this front of the locomotive, there is an automatic coupler fitted and rudimentary buffers only. |
