Remarks & Notes
An early morning arrival negotiates the switches at the entrance to Windsor Station. The station is at the bottom of a grade and all inbound trains are required to make a brake application at Greene Avenue, the second signal bridge in the distance, about a mile west of the station to ensure the brakes are working properly. In 1909 a train crashed through the track bumper and ended up in the concourse.
