Remarks & Notes

The fireman and headend brakeman are going into the station to confer with the agent-operator before making a lift from the yard. Coteau was and still is a busy junction on the CN Kingston Sub. where the Alexandria Sub. to Ottawa and the Valleyfield Sub. meet the mainline between Montreal and Toronto.
